CVE-1999-1590 is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting Muhammad A. Muquit's wwwcount (Count.cgi) 2.3 application. An attacker can exploit this issue by supplying specially crafted ".." sequences in the image parameter to read arbitrary GIF files remotely. This vulnerability is distinct from CVE-1999-0021.
