Summary
CVE-1999-1564 is a vulnerability affecting FreeBSD 3.2 and potentially other versions. This issue permits a local user to trigger a denial of service condition, resulting in a system panic. The cause of this vulnerability lies in the handling of NFS v3 mounted directories, which can succumb to a large number of accesses from numerous processes.
