Summary

CVE-1999-1559 is a vulnerability affecting older versions of Xylan OmniSwitch before 3.2.6. This issue permits remote attackers to bypass the login prompt by inputting the control D character (CTRL-D). By exploiting this weakness, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to the switch, disrupting the access for other users since the device only supports one active session at a time.
