Summary

CVE-1999-1500 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Internet Anywhere POP3 Mail Server version 2.3.1. An attacker can trigger a crash by sending specific LIST, TOP, or UIDL commands using letters as arguments during the POP3 protocol interaction. This issue can result in the mail server becoming unresponsive and preventing legitimate users from accessing their email accounts.
