Summary

CVE-1999-1485 is a vulnerability affecting IRIX 6.5 through 6.5.2 operating systems. The Network File System Daemon (nsd) in question exports a virtual filesystem over a UDP port, making it accessible to remote attackers. This exposure enables attackers to view sensitive files and potentially cause a denial of service by mounting the nsd virtual file system.
