Summary
CVE-1999-1465 is a vulnerability affecting Cisco IOS 11.1 to 11.3 versions with Distributed Fast Switching (DFS) enabled. Attackers can exploit this issue to bypass certain access control lists. When a router switches traffic from a DFS-enabled input interface to an output interface with a logical subinterface, the vulnerability allows unauthorized access. This security weakness was documented in Cisco bug CSCdk43862.
