Summary
CVE-1999-1464 is a vulnerability affecting Cisco IOS 11.1CC and 11.1CT with Distributed Fast Switching (DFS) enabled. An attacker can exploit this flaw to bypass certain access control lists. When traffic is switched from a DFS-enabled interface to one without DFS, the vulnerability allows unauthorized access, as detailed in Cisco bug CSCdk35564. This issue poses a significant risk to network security and should be addressed promptly by affected organizations. Cisco has released patches to mitigate this vulnerability.
