Summary

CVE-1999-1454 is a vulnerability affecting the Macromedia "The Matrix" screen saver on Windows 95. If the "Password protected" option is enabled, an attacker with physical access to the machine can bypass the password prompt by simply pressing the ESC key. This vulnerability poses a significant risk in environments where unauthorized access to workstations must be prevented. Despite the password protection feature, it offers no real security against determined attackers. This issue emphasizes the importance of securing systems against both remote and physical threats.
