Summary
CVE-1999-1453 is an old cybersecurity vulnerability affecting Internet Explorer 4. Malicious web site operators could exploit this issue by using the Internet WebBrowser ActiveX object to remotely access the contents of a user's clipboard, potentially exposing sensitive data. This vulnerability posed a significant security risk, allowing attackers to gain unauthorized access to confidential information.
