Summary
CVE-1999-1448 is a vulnerability affecting Eudora and Eudora Light email clients before version 3.05. This issue allows remote attackers to cause a crash and corrupt the user's mailbox by sending an email with specific dates, either before 1970 or 100 years after the current date. The former can result in a Divide By Zero error, while the latter triggers a segmentation fault. These actions can potentially lead to data loss for the affected user.
