Summary

CVE-1999-1446 refers to a vulnerability in Internet Explorer 3 where the browser fails to adequately clear user history. Despite users selecting the "Clear History" option, DAT files containing a record of all visited URLs in the Temporary Internet Files and History folders persist. These files are not visible during regular browsing due to tailored folder displays.
