Summary
CVE-1999-1445 is a vulnerability affecting versions of imapd and ipop3d in Slackware 3.4 and 3.3 with shadowing enabled. The issue allows remote attackers to trigger a core dump by sending a specific sequence of USER and PASS commands, even when providing invalid usernames and passwords.
