Summary
CVE-1999-1441 is a vulnerability affecting Linux 2.0.34 systems. This issue allows local users to send SIGIO signals to arbitrary processes, causing a denial of service when the targeted process does not properly handle the signal. The vulnerability stems from Linux 2.0.34's inability to prevent unauthorized SIGIO signal transmissions. This can lead to unintended process behavior and ultimately result in a denial of service condition. To mitigate this risk, it is recommended to upgrade to a more recent Linux version.
