Summary
CVE-1999-1421 is a vulnerability affecting NBase switches NH208 and NH215. The issue lies in the presence of a TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) server, which is unsecured and allows remote attackers to send software updates. By guessing the target filenames, which have default names, an attacker can modify the switch configuration or cause a denial of service (crash) incident.
