Summary

CVE-1999-1421 is a vulnerability affecting NBase switches NH208 and NH215. The issue lies in the presence of a TFTP server, which is accessible remotely. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending software updates to the switch. By guessing the target filenames, which have default names, an attacker can modify the switch's configuration or cause a denial of service (crash).
