Summary

CVE-1999-1404 is a vulnerability affecting IBM/Tivoli OPC Tracker Agent version 2 release 1. This issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by sending malformed data to the localtracker client port (5011). The malformed data causes resource exhaustion, preventing the connection from being closed properly. This can result in the affected system becoming unresponsive and unavailable to users.
