Summary

CVE-1999-1400 is a vulnerability affecting The Economist screen saver used in the year 1999. When the "Password Protected" option is enabled, users with access to the machine can bypass the screen saver and gain access to the system. This can allow them to read files on the machine while the screen is still locked. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker simply needs to run Internet Explorer on the affected machine.
