Summary
CVE-1999-1399 is a vulnerability affecting the spaceball program in SpaceWare 7.3 v1.0 running on IRIX 6.2. This issue enables local users to elevate their privileges to root level by manipulating the HOSTNAME environmental variable, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands.
