Summary
CVE-1999-1394 is a vulnerability affecting BSD 4.4 operating systems at security level 1. It enables the root user to bypass immutable and append-only flags on files. This is accomplished by unmounting the file system and editing the file directly through a device using a file system editor like fsdb.
