Summary

CVE-1999-1389 is a vulnerability affecting US Robotics/3Com Total Control Chassis with Frame Relay versions 3.6.22 to 3.7.24. This issue permits bypassing access filters when the "set host prompt" setting is configured for a port. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by providing the hostname twice at the "host: " prompt, thereby bypassing the intended restrictions. This can potentially lead to unauthorized access to the system or network.
