Summary

CVE-1999-1359 is a vulnerability affecting Windows NT servers. If the server name exceeds 13 characters, the Ntconfig.pol file will not enforce policies correctly for global groups. This issue could allow users to circumvent intended restrictions. Servers with long names should be carefully managed to mitigate the risk of unintended access. This vulnerability was identified and documented in 1999. Windows NT users are advised to update their systems as soon as possible to address this issue.
