Summary
CVE-1999-1342 denotes a vulnerability in ICQ ActiveList Server. This issue permits remote attackers to induce a denial-of-service condition by transmitting malformed packets to the server's UDP port. The server crashes as a result, rendering it inaccessible to legitimate users. This vulnerability poses a risk for network availability, as ICQ servers can be flooded with malicious traffic, causing widespread disruption.
