Summary
CVE-1999-1199 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Apache WWW server versions 1.3.1 and earlier. Attackers can exploit this issue by sending a large number of MIME headers with the same name to the server. This causes resource exhaustion, resulting in a denial-of-service condition for the affected system. The vulnerability, also known as the "sioux" vulnerability, poses a significant risk for websites that use the affected Apache WWW server version.
