Summary
CVE-1999-1190 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the POP3 server of Admiral Systems EmailClub 1.05. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending an e-mail with an excessively long "From" header, causing a buffer overflow. The resulting condition allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the targeted system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it can lead to unauthorized system access or data manipulation. Users running the affected version of EmailClub are advised to update to a secure release immediately.
