Summary
CVE-1999-1152 is a vulnerability affecting Compaq/Microcom 6000 Access Integrator. This issue permits remote attackers to engage in brute force attacks due to the software's failure to disconnect clients after a predetermined number of unsuccessful login attempts. As a result, attackers can potentially gain unauthorized access to user accounts by repeatedly trying different combinations of usernames and passwords.
