Summary
CVE-1999-1151 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Compaq/Microcom 6000 Access Integrator. The issue lies in the lack of session timeouts after requesting a username and password. As a result, unauthenticated remote attackers can cause a denial of service by successfully connecting to the integrator without providing any login credentials. This omission in the integrator's security mechanism can lead to unauthorized access attempts and, ultimately, system overload.
