Summary

CVE-1999-1105 is a vulnerability affecting Windows 95 systems. When Remote Administration and File Sharing for NetWare Networks are enabled, an administrator logging in remotely inadvertently creates an open share named C$. malicious actors can exploit this flaw by mapping the network drive to the C$ share and gain unauthorized access to read arbitrary files on the targeted system. This issue poses a significant risk to confidential data and requires affected systems to be patched promptly.
