Summary
CVE-1999-1064 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting WindowMaker versions 0.52 through 0.60.0. An attacker can exploit this issue by providing a lengthy program name (argv[0]) to the WindowMaker application. The buffer overflow leads to a denial of service, and potentially, the execution of arbitrary commands by the attacker. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it allows unauthorized command execution and can result in serious system compromises.
