Summary
CVE-1999-1062 is a vulnerability affecting HP Laserjet printers equipped with JetDirect cards. When these printers are configured to use TCP/IP, they become susceptible to attacks. An attacker can bypass print filters and send PostScript documents directly to the printers' TCP ports 9099 and 9100, potentially leading to unauthorized printing or even the execution of malicious code.
