Summary
CVE-1999-1023 is a vulnerability affecting Solaris 7.0's useradd command. This issue arises from the useradd command's inability to correctly interpret specific date formats when setting account expiration dates using the "-e" argument. Unintended account access can occur due to this misinterpretation, allowing users to log in even after their accounts have officially expired.
