Summary

CVE-1999-0969 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the Windows NT RPC service. Malicious actors can exploit this weakness by sending spoofed, malformed RPC packets to the target system. Upon receipt, these packets cause an error message to be generated and sent back to the attacker's spoofed address. This response can create a potential loop, resulting in a denial-of-service condition for the targeted system.
