Summary

CVE-1999-0869 is a vulnerability affecting Internet Explorer 3.x to 4.01. Hackers can exploit this issue by injecting malicious content into a framed webpage of another site, a technique known as frame spoofing. This allows attackers to deceive users into believing they are on a trustworthy site while actually interacting with a potentially harmful one. The vulnerability poses a significant risk to users as they may unknowingly provide sensitive information to the attacker.
