Summary
CVE-1999-0724 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the OpenBSD procfs and fdescfs file systems. The issue lies in the readdir() function of the uio structure in OpenBSD. An attacker can exploit this flaw by supplying maliciously crafted data to the uio_offset member, leading to an overflow condition.
