Summary
CVE-1999-0667 is a vulnerability affecting the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP). Hackers can exploit this weakness by forging ARP replies, leading to the poisoning of ARP caches. By manipulating ARP replies, attackers can conduct IP address spoofing or launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack.
