Summary
CVE-1999-0661 is an old vulnerability affecting multiple software distributions. A Trojan Horse replaced the original software, including TCP Wrappers 7.6, util-linux 2.9g, wuarchive ftpd (wuftpd) 2.2 and 1.f, ircII ircII 2.2.9, OpenSSH 3.4p1, and Sendmail 8.12.6, during distribution. The Trojan Horse allows for unauthorized access and potential system compromise. Systems using these outdated and compromised versions are at risk. Users are encouraged to update their software to the latest versions to mitigate this vulnerability.
