Summary
CVE-1999-0572 is a vulnerability affecting the Windows NT registry editor (regedit) caused by the association of .reg files. An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting a malicious .reg file to execute Trojan Horse attacks and make unauthorized modifications to the registry. This can lead to system instability or compromise of sensitive information.
