Summary
CVE-1999-0481 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the "poll" function in OpenBSD. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending maliciously crafted packets to a targeted system, resulting in a resource exhaustion condition. This can lead to the affected system becoming unresponsive to legitimate traffic, causing a denial-of-service condition. OpenBSD users are advised to update their systems to mitigate this risk. This vulnerability was discovered and reported in 1999.
