Summary
CVE-1999-0399 is a vulnerability affecting Mirc 5.5, an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client. The issue lies in the DCC (Direct Client-to-Client) server command, which fails to adequately filter characters in file names. This flaw allows remote attackers to upload and place malicious files in incorrect locations, potentially granting them the ability to execute arbitrary commands.
