Summary
CVE-1999-0363 is a vulnerability affecting the SuSE 5.2 PLP lpc program. This issue involves a buffer overflow, which if exploited, grants an attacker unauthorized root access to the system. The lpc program, used for managing printer queues, fails to validate user input, enabling an attacker to overwrite memory and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
