Summary

CVE-1999-0362 is a remote denial of service vulnerability affecting WS_FTP servers. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted cwd (change working directory) command during an FTP session. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to cause the server to consume excessive system resources, leading to a denial of service condition.
