Summary

CVE-1999-0347 is a vulnerability affecting Internet Explorer 4.01. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by crafting a malicious "about:" Javascript URL containing a "%01" character. This causes Internet Explorer to use the domain specified after the character instead of the intended local file, resulting in unauthorized file reading and web page spoofing.
