Summary
CVE-1999-0219 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Serv-U FTP server version 2.5. This issue allows remote, authenticated users to cause a denial of service by sending overly long commands in the Chdir (CWD) or List (LS) functions. Exploitation of this vulnerability results in a server crash. Successful exploitation does not grant unauthorized access but can significantly impact system availability.
