Summary

CVE-1999-0158 is a vulnerability affecting the Cisco PIX firewall manager (PFM) on Windows NT. An attacker can exploit this weakness by connecting to port 8080 on the PFM server and retrieving any file whose name and location are known. This issue poses a significant risk as it could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information or even system takeover. It is strongly recommended that affected systems be updated to the latest version of the PFM software, which includes a patch for this vulnerability.
