Summary

CVE-1999-0140 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Remote Access Service (RAS) and Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) on Microsoft Windows NT systems. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted packet to the targeted RAS or PPTP server, causing it to crash and become unresponsive.
