Summary

CVE-1999-0130 is a vulnerability affecting the Sendmail mail transfer agent. This issue allows local users to initiate Sendmail in daemon mode, thereby gaining root privileges within the system. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted command to the Sendmail service, resulting in unauthorized escalation of privileges.
