Summary
CVE-1999-0095 is a critical vulnerability affecting Sendmail servers. This issue arises due to the enabled debug command, which provides attackers with the ability to execute arbitrary commands as the root user. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted email to the targeted server, leading to potential system compromise and serious security implications. It is highly recommended that affected systems be updated to a version of Sendmail with the debug command disabled or removed.
