Summary
CVE-1999-0050 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the newgrp program in HP-UX operating systems. This issue arises due to an improperly managed input validation mechanism, allowing an attacker to inject malicious code into the memory buffer during new user group session creation.
