Summary
CVE-1999-0039 is a vulnerability affecting the webdist CGI program (webdist.cgi) in SGI IRIX operating systems. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending malicious input in the distloc parameter, which contains shell metacharacters. As a result, the attacker is able to execute arbitrary commands remotely, potentially leading to significant security risks and system compromise.
