Summary

CVE-1999-0030 is a vulnerability affecting SGI IRIX systems, which allows an attacker to gain root privileges through a buffer overflow in the xlock command. By sending specially crafted input to the xlock command, an attacker can manipulate the program's memory and execute arbitrary code at the highest level of system access. This vulnerability poses a significant threat to SGI IRIX systems and can result in unauthorized access and system compromise.
