National Veterans Day Celebration 2022

The Recorded Future Veterans Organization invites you to join in our Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Northwest Washington, DC. Join military veterans who reside at the home, locally based veterans across the DMV, actively serving military members, and supporters from companies and organizations across various industries.
We will spend the day honoring and celebrating our military veterans, while enjoying a day of music, food, and fun, focused on raising money for the Old Soldiers Home Foundation which supports the home and its veterans with projects focused on wellness, vitality, and camaraderie.
Timeline of Events
0930 - 1000: Arrive at AFRH (Directions and Parking Instructions)
1000: Opening Remarks / Pledge of Allegiance
1015: Event of the Day Begin (Donuts from Compass Coffee, Donuts from Astro Donuts, and Mimosas Available)
1111: Moment of Silence and Prayer (Senior AFRH Protestant Chaplain, Pastor John Goodloe)
1130: Food Trucks begin service
1400: Auction Winners Announced
1445: Closing Remarks (The Old Soldiers Home Foundation, Pat MacArevey)
1500: Event Concludes
