February 24, 2017 • Amanda McKeon
Like many of you, we had a very busy few days last week at RSA Conference 2017!
We met hundreds of you in the exhibit hall, enjoyed parties at night, and launched exciting new aspects to our product. Let’s look at some of the highlights.
Huge Interest in the Underground Ransomware Economy
More than 500 people attended the session presented by our very own Andrei Barysevich, director of advanced collection, and Levi Gundert, vice president of intelligence and strategy.
The presentation focused on the disturbing world of ransomware and highlighted the rising costs to organizations, the mindset behind an infamous ransomware campaign, and what happens when criminals are no longer content with small payouts.

If you missed the session at RSA, don’t worry. Andrei and Levi will be presenting the information during a live webinar on Thursday, March 9 at 2:00 PM ET.
A massive conference like RSA wouldn’t be complete without lots of hard work during the day, and letting loose at night. And let loose we did. On Monday evening we sponsored PhishMe’s party with Mimecast and VadeSecure complete with a live band and plenty of dancing.

On Valentine’s Day we got a little more intimate at our own party which included a roundtable discussion on navigating the maze of cyber security. Speakers included renowned hacker Samy Kamkar, First Data’s Christopher Mascaro, and our very own Andrei Barysevich.

Additionally, we were named Most Innovative Security Software of the Year by Info Security Products Guide, a prestigious information security research and advisory guide. More than 40 judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2017 Global Excellence Awards finalists and winners.
Multiple Sources, One Solution
Finally, last week we announced the expansion of our threat intelligence offering.
